Extend Save Data extends the container for the current title. This is also done automatically if the save being imported is too large for the container. Different games have different limits. Most games do not need this at all. A few will take advantage of a larger container, others extend theirs at times and will need larger containers than created by default.
These can be used to create save data for games not installed on your system. File Mode A opens directories. B goes back up a folder if possible.
X opens a small menu of options for files and directories: Copy to [X] - Copies the currently selected item to the location opened on the other panel. Selecting the first. Delete deletes the currently selected item. Rename renames the currently selected item. Make Dir creates a folder. Properties gets file size and directory size. ZL or ZR Change the controlled menu. The trash bin feature can be disabled further down. This currently only updates the NRO release.
Maybe NSP later. Files and folders should be relocated for you. Edit Blacklisted Titles allows you to removed titles blacklisted from being shown. Remove Update deletes system updates downloaded from Nintendo and asks to reboot the system to get rid of the update nag. Terminate Process asks for a title ID to terminate. Mount System Save asks for the save ID to mount.
This is for when JKSV is unable to rescan with a process terminated. Rescan Titles reloads save data information. This can be used to reload after a process is terminated or when options are changed. So whether physical or digital copy, the saves all goes into your Switch, and that is what this tool is dumping.

Paste as plain text instead. Only 75 emoji are allowed. Display as a link instead. Clear editor. Those transfers are done locally. These transfers can be repeated in indefinite number of times, too. Just be careful what you cross to the stock Switch. Tho of course, I don't do illegal nonsense using my devices, so supposedly that helps to mitigate the ban risk.
But I can't say that for everyone, so as said above, just be careful with what you do, and only you yourself shall be held liable for your actions. I may be a little late, but does this process still work?
When trying to transfer from my CFW Switch to my OFW Switch Lite, it ask's for a internet connection, and when i turned on the internet connection, i just got an error message.
Transfered the save to my CFW Switch, backed up the save, and used pkhex to give me the maximum amout of every item. Note: This worked for the save in atmosphere, i saw the items, but when booting in OFW the save state was back to normal.
Guess this might have been obvious for someone more knowledgable then me, but i have no clue about the inner workings of CFW, not mentioning my poor english. Granted, while there are some situations that that may work, it isn't suppose to work that way.
Just read a guide what these terms actually mean and yea, stupid me thought i had this all figuered out. Hi, you said that you used the official nintendo method. This means that your CFW was unbanned right? Yes unbanned. IIRC the system is checked online before the save is transferred locally. Every save file is compatible. Create save data backups for any game on your Nintendo Switch without depending on Nintendo Online.
